Due to recent growth, Merendino Cemetery Care, a world-class leader in the arboretum and cemetery care profession, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for its Albany location. Due to the long-standing success of the company, this position offers potential for growth!
Details include: Organize mowing/excavating crews, inspect work quality, train employees, maintain legal compliance with OSHA and other state/ federal regulations, address customer and employee concerns, manage payroll and working hours, show crews better, faster and safer methods of operating equipment and servicing clients and assist in the development of a franchise model. A minimum of an Associates Degree preferably in Agronomy, Landscape, Horticulture or Business is a plus. A driver's license and knowledge of Spanish are required. $15 per hour plus overtime and bonus potential. Benefits include, medical, dental, education reimbursement and company car.
